Sulphur

With about 600.000 tons per year BEB is by far the biggest sulphur producer in Germany and one of the "mayors" in Europe. BEB's sulphur is produced as a byproduct when hydrogen sulphide containing natural gas is cleaned in our desul­phur­ization plants in Großenkneten and Voigtei.

The sulphur is of high quality with a purity of above 99,9 %. We deliver our sulphur in liquid form ex plant by railway tank wagon or tank truck and in liquid form or in solid granules ex our terminal in the port of Brake/Unter­weser by seagoing vessel, barge or truck to national and inter­na­tional customers. Because of large storage capac­ities and indepen­dently working desul­phur­ization units we can offer a secure and flexible supply.
