Designated storage operating mode
is a non-binding planned operation mode for each storage which can either be the injection operating mode, the withdrawal operating mode or the non-operating mode. The designated storage operating mode for each storage is published by BEB on its websites in accor­dance with the weekly nomin­ta­tions of storage customers pursuant to the operating manual storage Section III, paragraph 2.

Deutsche Verei­nigung des Gas- und Wasser­faches e.V. is a German association for natural gas and water industry; it publishes certain standards, rules and norms, which are accepted standards in natural gas and water industry.

Effective date
Date of conclusion of a storage contract.

Election date
Has the meaning ascribed to in Section 28, paragraph 2 of the GT&Cs.

End date
Date of expiry of a storage contract.

Energy content
Energy content is defined as the product of gross calorific value and volume in normal condition. Energy content equiva­lence means that the energy content of the natural gas delivered to and redeli­vered from storage delivery point and storage offtake point is the same.

Firm bundled services
Bundled services that are / may be contracted by storage customer on a firm basis in accor­dance with Section 4 of the GT&Cs.

Firm unbundled services
Unbundled services that are / may be contracted by storage customer on a firm basis in accor­dance with Section 4 of the GT&Cs.

Fixed mainte­nance plan
has the meaning ascribed to it in Section 17, paragraph 2 of the GT&Cs.

Force Majeure
has the meaning ascribed to it in Section 21, paragraph 3 of the GT&Cs.
